List every repair or installation as a separate item—for example a wardrobe hinge, sticking door, damaged shelf or cabinet modification. Mention movement, visible damage, unusual sounds and previous repair attempts.
Approximate width, height and depth can help with initial guidance. Final measurements should still be verified before made-to-measure production or any work where surrounding finishes affect the fit.
Images are optional, but a wide view and a close view can help show access, damage, hardware and nearby walls or flooring. Do not place personal documents or sensitive information in photographs.
Remove personal items from cabinets or nearby furniture where practical. Keep children and pets away from tools and arrange any building-required floor, lift or corridor protection.
Before attendance, check the appointment window, visit charge if applicable, included labour, expected materials, disposal and whether the job requires a separate measurement or quotation visit.
