Why there is no useful single price
A loose cabinet hinge, a damaged wardrobe panel and a made-to-measure TV unit require different labour, materials and planning. The property type can also affect access and installation time.
What changes the quotation?
The main factors are dimensions, material type, hardware, number of items, condition, access, finishing and whether fabrication is required. Apartment or office lift bookings and villa or townhouse delivery routes can also affect the work plan.
Photos make the first review more useful
Send wide photos showing the whole item, close-ups of the defect, approximate measurements and your location. For custom work, include a reference image as a style guide; the final design should be based on the actual space.
Repair before replace
When the structure is sound, replacing a hinge, rail, slat, drawer runner or damaged panel can be more economical than replacing the whole item. When board material is swollen or repeatedly failing, replacement may be more sensible.
